Maybe the pull particles have too much lifetime, so they bounce of the maximillian in front and pull the guy behind towards you.

Maybe we could emplore Data to implement something that would allow for a gravity gun? Like soemthing that 'holds' an actor's -lets say- head, and lets you pick it up. Oooh, and if you could then use the mouse to pick up actors, we'd have a CC-tower defence mod!

Uh, nm. Stick to the grav-gun.

Really? Never happened to me. Here is a NEWER VERSION. (it just shoots a ball that gibs into portal 1 and then another which gibs into portal 2- but the actual portals don't work, I'm hoping there will be something in build 19 that I can manipulate- possibly lua scripting which I know nothing about)

On a side note, how does PinStrength work, I set it to 0.000005 and it has the same effect as 1.

edit: the reason this doesn't work very well is because, well, you have to think about every bullet being a mass, the 'pushing' bullets are hundreds of low weight particles, it would be like being hit by a thousand needles, when at high speeds they would just rip you apart (and if the particles collide then the pins get pulled back again :lol: )

did I mention a green clones body weighs 35 kg, so you dont want to gib the clone by having high weight particles and you want to pick him up= lag

50 grams (light weight particle = 0.05) x100= 5kg.
5kg*7= 35kg (how much the green clones main body weighs) = 100*7 (700) particles needed to lift effortlessly = LAG

you obviously haven't downloaded the latest portal gun, it doesn't do that any more.
