Whats the variable to turn off the auto level effect of the dropships that prevents the thrusters from changing the angle they are firing at relative to the ship itself? It seems that unless it hits perfectly level the thrusters lock into position and it can't move. My first couple of tests all started in the air so i didn't notice.

Or just remove the retro thrusters, which from my best guess is what you are talking about.

Sorry was somewhat excited. When a normal dropship goes past about 30 degrees from flat to the ground the thrusters stop being able to go left to right. Unfortunatly this design is based off the dropship and so if it hits the ground at any significant angle you can't move the thrusters to get it to roll. If you chose the direction before the ship lands it will go that way but once started in that direction it doesn't stop.

Several maxvelocities and a maxthrottlerange but not maxthrusterangle. However I think I was on the wrong track by trying to force it to be a dropship. I think a rocket class is more suited to this. Sorry new to modding and i assumed that since dropships roll so nicely after blowing off an engine that they would work best with this. I'll let you know in the morning and regardless you and pyrorex are both gonna get credit for helping me on this.

Actually i may have even better news. Based off of this mod i think wheeled vehicles are possible right now. Bear with me and don't jump me cause i get a tiny thing wrong.
First you would start with a basic clone template. Remove the head change the body to a dropship body(all images are just for easy reference wouldnt be the final form). Make the arms invisible as well and make the legs 2 wheels about maybe 10 pixels wide. Attach at least one jetpack to each wheel so that when the jetpack button is hit the wheels spin the same direction. Optimally you would use 2 jet packs a wheel for balance but i don't know if that could be done. Unfortunatly my coding abilities leave something to be desired but i think that could work any thoughts.
Oh yeah rocket version of the wheel is possible but would need to hit a and d at the same time to go one way and s to go the other because i couldn't figure out how to make multiple engines work on any but the s key.
Doesn't it always seem when you start your first significant mod that its gonna be easy and it never turns out that way.
Edit Ya know i was thinking a morphball like sprite would be best but maybe an arwing barrel rolling would be best.

I'm looking at Am's jeep mod and no offence to Am or anything but it's not a wheeled veihicle. its just an actor with a constant gait and no bounce in his step. however if i can attack a pair of jetpacks to either wheel i can make it act like a real car with acceleration. I'll get back to you on that in a bit.
