Re: Taking Gun Requests
Oh you're going to code it too? Then in that case you can use my sprite.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
Could you possibly make this pp2000 for me? I need it to be ridiculously overpowered though. Sprite is already done.

Electricity sprites are relevant to my interests.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
Personally I'd use some fancy-schmancy glow muzzle flashes, as has been done before. It wouldn't do the chain kill thing, though.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
I'm sure it could be done easily using lua. You would just need it to find the actor that was hit, and then make that actor spawn the wunderwaffe projectile towards the nearest enemy actor. Unfortunately, I was trying to avoid lua so I could master the basics first; however, I think I could look at some basic tutorials to figure this out real quick. Better sooner than later.
Edit: @Contrary: Your sprite is very good. Thank you, I will definately use that. @Zaits: What kind of electricity sprites? Glows, I am guessing? @Roast: I would love to make an electricity glow that went straight like so: -------- ,just a straight line of electricity, but then when you shot in any direction but horizontal it would look extremely silly, haha.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
That sounds like a devilishly hard script to me, and one that will be laden with errors.
Go ahead anyway.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
I'm gonna trust you on that one, considering I have never gone near lua. I'll just stick to making the gun first, then I'll look into the lua aspect.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
Little arcs of electricity would be nice actually, I'm woeful at spriting and can't think of any games I could butcher the sprites from.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
I'm having trouble finding the "Shoot" sound for the Wunderwaffe. If I had the game for the computer I could just get it from there, but I don't. If anyone has COD5 for the PC and can get me that sound that would be great.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
If you want good lightning sprites, you might wanna check out metal slug 5 final boss sprites (although I might be mistaken)

Re: Taking Gun Requests
Work on the Wunderwaffe is coming along. I got all the offsets down, the mag sprited (Which was very easy) and a sound. It isn't the official sound from COD5, but I think I did a pretty good job mashing up some sounds to sound like it.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
Splitter Rifle(Endless War 3&4; Flash Game) What it does: Fires a single shot that upon hit with any actor wil immediately split to nine separate shots in random directions that will also split upon hit with other actors and so on. A gun version of the splitter grenade.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is pretty much done now. The only things it needs are an instant kill function and a chain function. I really have no idea how I am going to do the instant kill. I searched the forums, nothing. I tried pumping up the mass/amount of particles/fire velocity, and this happened: And even though it is hilarious, I need to find a better solution... If anyone knows a way to make a gun kill an actor in one hit, without ^^^ happening, it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Taking Gun Requests
You can use a Lua script for a clean kill, or you can use an AEmitter to cancel out the recoil.
