Technically...
In RGB the additive secondary color between red and blue is magenta.
255, 0, 255 specifically is full magenta, also known as electric magenta, or fuchsia.

Purple is generally thought of as being darker than that, and sometimes bluer, but is a general term. It's any non-spectral combination between red and violet.

Pink is more red than blue.
Indigo and violet are more blue than red.
