God. I get so sick and tired of hearing people say this. Its such a flawed statement, but I really don't want to write another dissertation on why. I already did that in some other thread and forgot where it was.

Darlos, I hate to say it, but sometimes you have to give up on realism for fun's sake. It isn't realistic that skeletons with no visible wiring or joint lubrication will move like that, no matter what year it is, let alone not shatter from the impacts of walking. But it is ♥♥♥♥ cool.
Also, Foa- negative stickiness may mean that the particles repel from other particles. BRB, I have to make a negsticky concrete gun.

Ferroliquid! In all seriousness, they can make animatronics pretty dang hard to spot today, who says they won't be able to conceal metal muscles inside the bones? Or electromagnetic motion, for that matter.

It quite realistic, scientists have already made machines capable of mapping neural impulses to specific functions in programs and stuff, who knows how far this could go (remember CC is set a very long time in the future), I don't know if we will ever get advanced enough to do whole body replacements, let alone allow anybody to do it (religious people would be in uproar etc. ethical/unethical battles...).

Also I don't think the skeletons truly belong in CC, as they are the only unrealistic thing (as far things go in CC). You can't truly simulate reality, you can only simulate portions of it, the more you try to simulate the worse the performance, therefore saying that anything in a game is unrealistic is stupid, because it's ALL unrealistic, can you suddenly decide to set up a bonfire in game and cook marsh-mellows? I THINK NOT! Unrealistic.

And btw the negative-friction makes the concrete flow like water. Use that for flowy blood with a very low restimpulse.

Yeah, missions on the moon versus hordes of skeletons.

At least that's the latest word from Prom.

I hope they're going to be skeletons tougher then the ones we have now. I could commit a skeleton genocide with just a dummy and shotgun.

Wait, wait, wait! Does this all mean that we can make massively gore and blood stained hallways (in a more realistic manner than current)? Because that might just add a creepy flair to zombie themed maps/mods, like watching scripted sequences of zombies killing a neutral team then having you move through the blood soaked hive...sweet.
