Have the muzzleflash have an attached emitter that emits an emitter that emits the flash.

Only problem then is that it's at a fixed rotation.

You're right, that's the problem I've recently been trying to work around. Thanks anyway. :)

I wouldn't say that...you could if you really wanted it bad enough.

Try making an actor with a BodyAnimMode that is the same as the
brain and has all your animation applied to it and try pinning that.

EDIT: nvm, it seems I was on the wrong page.

They aren't random.

They are animated so fast that you can only see some of the frames at sometime clearly!!!

:o I didn't know that. I once tried to make a slower pistol slide mechanism animation when fired using 20 sprites (Gun000 - Gun020), but it looked like it hadn't changed, so I thought it was random. If they're rendered so fast that the game only displays some of them, then I'll need to make a lot of copied sprites. I still find what you say a little hard to believe, but if you're right, you're right. Now I understand your idea in your previous posts. Thanks.

Muzzleflashes are random, I seem to recall. There's some ancient .ini code that points to that.

And, gun sprites are only two frames. Muzzleflashes can have as many as you want, but you're only likely to see a few. Again, as far as I know, muzzleflashes do emit a random frame from their animation, not something sequential.

That makes sense. It also explains why I never saw any changes.
