Re: Sprite Help Thread
You can download the old xp paint here. It will work if you use it(the conversion to palette being the first it and the old version of paint being the second it).

Re: Sprite Help Thread
I use Photoshop CS4 Which can be helpful because it keeps the Image in palette when you edit the image... so you can make the sprite and save it and use it instantly.. Also its decent for spriting.

If you want to be extremely lazy you could probably make the arm extend by just having that pole bit in the middle get longer, as if it's telescopic or hydraulic or something.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
I suggest you stay away from the AAL color scheme.
It's a turn off.

As long as he does it interestingly, which I think he has, he'll be fine.

It's a turn off. Bah, Numgun's is more of a Black and Dark Orange... Mine is a sort of Gray and Yellowish Orange.. I use the entire grayscale 411570N3 wrote: If you want to be extremely lazy you could probably make the arm extend by just having that pole bit in the middle get longer, as if it's telescopic or hydraulic or something. It's a turn off. I disagree with this entirely. You can't rule out an entire colour scheme purely because numgun used it, that would be lunacy.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
Yeah I think it looks great. And just because numgun has used those colours doesn't mean you shouldn't. It's a good looking colour scheme.

Yeah it looks way better when it's put together. I retract my previous statement.

Re: Sprite Help Thread
-Not in palette; red in CC palette is horrendous anyways -More contrast between colours -no outlines -too big -You do have a good grasp of shading, though
quick thing for you
PS: sorry for the lack of page long essay, I'm disheartened by tests i was unprepared for and my first energy drink withdrawl.
Edit: This is something I made a couple days ago. I thought the shotgun turned out well so I thought I'd make a revolver. I don't normally make such shiny sprites; tell me what you think.
