Hah, nope, you're not quite right. I don't think you'd mind getting the initially discussed prize whatsoever, even if you already had it.

Re: Official Christmas Mod Contest | Submissions closed!
Yea these contest are getting slower and slower. Modders would most likely prefer something other than an image as a reward for winning. But that's just me. (Not that the images are bad)
And I'm sure the contest being a week or two apart isn't helping. The whole contest thing needs rethinking if people actually want them to be even mildly successful because they are far from that right now.

Re: Official Christmas Mod Contest | Submissions closed!
That would quite possibly be the second dumbest idea ever, Whitty. Only beaten by giving users a key to the game.
Seriously, I won a contest with a mod that killed anyone who shot anything. That was the extent of my mod.
NOT EXACTLY QUALIFICATIONS TO DEVELOP FOR THE GAME
plus, what if some random jackoff with no work ethic won the prize (case in point: me) they wouldn't want to be on the dev team, and no one would want them on it either
it's a bad idea all around

A CC coffee cup or, a t-shirt in your size or, a beach towel or, a pair of coalition sunglasses? I can go on.

Data already has a shop, online anyway. Although it doesn't have much. Here: http://www.zazzle.com/datarealms

Frankly, I'm very disappointed. The only one I like at all is the Santa turret, which is far too fragile be as powerful as its very awesome spriting would lead you believe. It got gibbed in the tutorial.

Re: Official Christmas Mod Contest | Submissions closed!
So, it seems that pretty much everyone ended up throwing this contest aside, including the judges. So what's it gonna be, Mr. Data? Are you and the other VIPs gonna tell us who's the winner?
