Coops9753 wrote: Swinging in her own Module will require some EPIC animation.. but then how will you keep the head following the spot whilst she's swinging?...... i would go up for it but maybe not now, sorta busy and couldnt script Lua for my life Good thing i dont I don't mean like the violent swinging she does in portal. I mean the idle animation where she sways. I think swinging was the wrong word. Yeah, would take far too much of my time to either sprite that animation. In other news, I've been comparing my head to a reference picture, and I've noticed my GLaDOS is still too big. Therefore, in the interest of keeping this accurate to game, and of high quality, I have redone the size and shape yet again. This will probably be my final size edit. Here's a sneak peek at her main back plate which I'm currently working on, with the new shape/size: I still need some shading on the lower part, and I need to add the grey Aperture symbol to the main plate.

So very close. Just the last top part to reshape and shade, then touch-up begins.

It looks really nice the only thing is that everytime I look at the butt plate I think "General Grievous".
Maybe make that spot look less like an eye?

I guess you're looking too long or like Star Wars too much. I don't see anything but GLaDOS...

 It's still a really beautiful piece, Lowee. I guess I'm just bad at interpreting your sprites.

Very nice, I can see a few pixels that need touching up but hey, small details right? I see what you mean about grievous, but I didn't automatically see it. Regardless, looking damn fine.

The colorful noise at random points on the sprite doesn't work very well.
Also, will this be a full-fledged Portal mod with Portal gun and everything, or just a Aperture science themed modules?

I'll be adding -everything- that I can possibly do properly in CC. Also, the colorful noise is not random. It's at the exact points where they appear in game. I'll probably just soften the colors on the blues/yellows, but to reiterate nothing I've sprited is absent from retail Portal, seen below: As an aside this shot is funny to me since it shows that the Red "core" is the only one that doesn't actually attach to any part of GLaDOS.

That would be pretty cool if its a campaign mission and you some puzzles and then you face GLaDOS... throw the cores into an incinerator, she freaks out and then nerotoxins start flooding in and the rocket turret pops up and OMG I JUST JIZZED.......

I might update my ashpd mod if you wanted to make some portal missions (something I planned to do, albeit not portal related just some cool CC missions that you needed to use the portal gun for), I made it practically as soon as the current build was released so I have no doubt that I could improve it a lot, with the item pick-up feature as well (another intended feature, at the time not enough was known about inventory handling).

Pretty much final iteration of GLaDOS, after some delay. Now to figure out how to get the Morality Core to look good in CC's purple-less palette..... Glows maybe?
