Lots of things, but mainly the campaign. I should learn Lua first though since I know absolutely nothing about it right now.

I actually did, by accident, at some point. I made a big attachable and attached it to some clone's jetpack. Then I hit him with a rocket, which knocked the attachment off... and took the jetpack! I never thought to really look into it, but I know it's POSSIBLE, if a bit difficult.

First release a version without a jetpack function, so people get a taste for it and figure out what its weaknesses are, so then suggestions with sense will come around.

If this is true, then all I have to do is to make the jetpack have a WoundLimit of 1 and the breakwound to trigger it when the attached shield system gets blown off. Are you sure about this Djinn? what properties did the attachable have?

id recommend garrys mod, it bases most of itself for modding on lua

Oh, and it's not LUA, it's Lua.
The creator requests it is called Lua, not LUA.

You're a dipshit, friend. Lua is Portuguese for moon, it was created by a team of people, and is also named after Jhon Lua, a man who offers to put your game on the shelves of Best Buy for your money.
And numgun, it might not necessarily be a bad idea to try your hand at another game's Lua scripting (as long as you don't get too good, get caught up, and never return D:), if only to give a grasp of the layout of the code.

true you kinda need half life 2 D: (I think, i havent used steam since my computer got a fried and steam said no when i tried to re-install half life 2)
and garrys mod 9 is only free
10 is like 10 dollars though and has more features. i dont think it really matters though
