Except the RecoilTransmission variable for HDFirearms makes that method obsolete.

B29 or B30. It's a simple multiplier - RT 0 = no recoil, RT 0.5 = half recoil, RT 1 = normal recoil, RT 2 = double recoil, and so on. So you could actually make a decent recoilless rifle without excessive backblast.

In fact, negative recoil was used by AAL (an old mod) to create the Thermal Space Digger, which propelled actors forwards rather than backwards when used. Very useful for navigating in low-gravity environments, moving left/right faster, digging in hard angles (up), and even flying if your actor was light enough.

While the recoil modifier didn't exist back then, negative bullet mass was used to create the same effect.
