Well, first of all, when the error pops up, the window ussually says:
---------------------------
RTE Aborted! (x_x)
---------------------------
Could not match property Error happened in ____.rte/Weapons/____.ini at line _!

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'
---------------------------
Before you do close it, go to the ini file, and go to which line it says, and see whats the problem is, but if nothings wrong with it, I suggest comparing it to other SMG files to see what's missing. (Atleast thats all what I can say, Lol)

First you need to make everything from top to bottom, not from bottom to top. you need to do it like this MOParticle, Round, Magazine and then the HDFirearm. look at how the Coalition do it.

second you need to add the word Tech to the end of your faction name in the index.ini

And third you need to use .bmp sprites and not .png sprites.

The object type does not matter. Just that any object is defined before you use it. For example. You can't create a gun without first defining what magazine it uses, and what round that mag uses, and again what particle that round fires.

Alright, I applied the changes you told me, but I am still getting the same error message. Below is the updated file.

You still need to use .bmp sprites with the correct colors instead of .png (refer to the Everything you need to know about modding in CC). also the paths need to be complete. Example: it would be DummySMG.bmp instead of DummySMG

You should really use a premade .ini scripts. Just take the coalition one as a base and modify from there. That's how I learned most things.

Also if U have any more problems most of the error's are incorrect naming of things and or if one thing is a AEmitter and when you went to add it in your code you said that it was a MOSRotating.

At least that's what experience has shown me. :)
