[WIP] B23/B24 Killzone MiniMod
Hey guys! First of all I'd just like to say it feels good be part of this community. I've been watching this game from a distance and guiltily stopped playing when they started selling keys. x: But recently, looking at the game's progression inspired me to buy it! But since modding this game is entirely new to me, please don't expect anything fancy that includes lua and whatnot. Currently, the (mini)mod will include: ACTORS ISA/HG -Rifleman -Medic -Engineer -Tactician -Assault -Saboteur -Scout References - http://images.wikia.com/killzone/images/b/bf/Killzone-2-20090114051421570-000.jpgNotes: At the moment, the actors will have basic ad/disadvantages such as more/less armor, mobility, but probably just used for aesthetic means. I might opt. out of making a few. WEAPONS -M4 Revolver -StA18 Pistol -StA14 Rifle -M82 Assault Rifle -StA52 Assault Rifle -LS13 Shotgun -StA11 SMG -VC9 Rocket Launcher -M80 Rocket Launcher -M224-A1 Light Machine Gun -StA3 LMG -M327 Grenade Launcher -VC32 Sniper Rifle Notes: All of these seem very possible at the moment. TOOLS -Healthpacks -(Ground)Sentry Bot -(Air)Sentry Bot -Spawning Grenade
Notes: The healthpack if done right seem's very possible. But if I could figure out, if possible at all, how to spawn actors through objects/weapons/tools, the sentry bots (actors) and spawning grenade would work. I plan the spawning grenade will work in such a way that the object is thrown and when the object "dies" two soldier actors would spawn. This all could be wishful thinking. :c As of this moment, the mod looks well on its way. I have lots of time even though I (according to the school) am a full time student and have a part time job. Any help / suggestions / input will be appreciated and accordingly credited. Tell me what you guys (and gals) think! I will be updating this thread whenever a substantial update is made. Of course, since this is still in it's early stages, the mod will not be ready within a day or two.

By all means, go for this! If the initial beta mod is good, and interest us much, we could give some insights on .lua modding. It is a good gateway to real coding. In the meantime, remember that the Helghast actors are kinda 'bulkier' than a Coalition Heavy, so try and polish your sprite. By the way, where would you get the actor sounds?

i could work on this a bit every day, if you could pm it to me. I think this is a very good idea, and you should use the Helghast Officer that adasx10 put in the Minor mod dump.

I ♥♥♥♥ love me some killzone. there was a nother killzone mod a while ago, it was more killzone 1 and far from polished but you could probably get some inspiration from there. i thought that mod had a nice feel to it as well.

If you would like me to, I could test out the beta as a playtester. The work so far looks pretty nice, you have a very nice spriting style.

Me an' WalkableBuffalo have made a not-so-half-done one, with a Helghast Sniper, Guard Trooper, and Soldier guy. We can like, combine or something if you want.

Hey guys,i see this mod isn't released,so for the guys that want it or just want to help,i released a mod containing 3 actors and a few weapons,the mod is called Killzone 3 and,ofcourse,i am looking for help.I want to add eye glow but idk how
