So, here's how we do this.
One person starts with an outline, (me in this case) and everyone else adds details and other things to the sprite until we think it looks good enough.
Example:
Quote:
Outline
Then someone says:
Then they go edit it a bit and edit their post with the sprite:
Rules:
1. Post as .png
2. Don't just edit the sprite perfectly and say it's finished, it's supposed to be a build up to the end product.
3. Don't start discussions, if you don't post an edited sprite, no-one will listen to you.
4. Don't try to steer the look/theme to a different direction.Another thing! If you're really good at spriting, you'll probably think: "I could do that in a few minutes!" But the inspiration for this thread is that I was looking at the coalition soldier sprites.. They're all blocky.
No really, there isn't much detail in them and even with the limited palette, and my limited talent, I could still edit them and make them look quite a bit better.
Lol, my spell check suggested spriting was "stripping".Ok, I'll start of with an outline:
If you don't like the look of the outline, wait until it's finished and make one yourself, after we deem it done, a new outline will be posted.
Probably something completely different too, maybe a rocket?
