Third function for the coalition breaker and other problems
So i was messing around inside of the coalition weapons and realized that there's a hidden weapon called the Breaker-GL. it's basically the ronin's thumper but sexier.
shortly after finding it and enabling it (all you have to do is set buyable to 1 instead of 0, and if you're really anal about offsets like i am, fixing the wonky support offset) I thought of ways i could mod it, and being a fan of the revolver cannon i went to work trying to add a third pie slice and function for the weapon. A slug throwing option, basically a single shot revolver cannon function.
I'm here obviously because my attempts have all but failed. I'll attach my work so far (it's the coalition.rte so just extract into your cortex command folder and overwrite, it doesn't replace anything except the weapons devices.ini.)
Also a while ago with some much appreciated help from salt and a few other people i successfully created an offshoot of the grenade launcher that shoots mines instead of grenades (three mines at a time for quick deployment of a high density minefield). The only problem i've had with this gun is that there is no IFF (identification friend or foe, so my guys can walk through minefields but my enemies can't) on the mines. How would i go about enabling such a feature?
before you extract note the areas i need help in are located in the weapons folder, three files: MineLayer.ini, GrenadeLaunchers2.ini and BreakerGrenadeLauncherPie2.Lua. Also in total there are five files, the Devices.ini that enables these weapons, a new sprite for the slug in the sprites folder and the three files i mentioned in the sentence before this one located in the weapons folder.

For IFF you could have the devices function in the pie menu make it set a magazine with mines of the correct team as the user, assuming that's possible. Same could be said for the "revolver cannon", just swap to a magazine with slugs (heck, a CopyOf from the revolver cannon".

I've already gotten that far, it still doesn't work. for the slug part i mean. as far as IFF i'm a very basic modder, i wouldn't know how to do that, i'm wondering if someone has an IFF script i could use.

Are you swapping the mag and reloading the gun? I think that's how it works, but I'm sort of shooting blind here and should stop trying to help without having tinkered with the new Lua stuff.

yeah man seperate mag denoted and everything, just it shoots normal nades not the slug
