Photoshop adding file size?
Whenever I create a bmp for CC in PhotoShop, PhotoShop adds about 40kb of header information (I assume to maximize compatibility with as many applications as possible). This makes things get annoying because I've been respriting arms and legs, and it changes the filesize of each frame from 4kb to 41kb. How can I fix this?

Re: Photoshop adding file size?
You can tell Photoshop to compress them as you save them.

Re: Photoshop adding file size?
It asks you if you want to RLE compress it, which will make larger files such as maps smaller, but it just makes smaller images such as limbs and weapons bigger. It can't compress the 40kb header.
Would it be possible to, after I make the image in PhotoShop, pull the image into another program for compression?
Edit: AHA! Gimp can save them small! I figured out how to put The Palette into Gimp, and I'm considering just switching now, at least for Cortex Command purposes.
I'm going to have to edit every single little image in my mod and make them all small lol

Re: Photoshop adding file size?
Weird. I am using the same version and it doesn't seem to make my images unnecessary large. Very weird indeed. Can't explain it.

Re: Photoshop adding file size?
Weird. I don't like Gimp's UI so from now on I'm just going to make my sprites in Photoshop and resave them in GImp to save size.
