It's not rocket science, really.

Just define an emitter with the characteristics Grif gave, make the emitter emit the particles you want to fire, and then use the emitter as the round.

And that should be it.

By the way, I have a problem, and I don't know, maybe it happens with all the guns that work like this. When I fire the gun while moving (quickly, and it happens less often) or flying the particles are emitted in different directions, sometimes destroying the gun or killing the user.

Is this common?

It is for me, I think it is because the actors velocity is able to effect the AEmitter's orientation, i.e when traveling at substantial speed, when the emitter is created, it (partially) inherits the actors orientation due to its velocity. Correct?

it's actually simpler than that

basically, if you get moving too fast, the engine will catch you firing, and then create your aemitter right in front of the gun. however, by the time it's actually created, the sim has updated, and you've moved in front of your bullet-to-be.

it's a problem with the aemitter recoil reduction; the extra sim frame needed between trigger-pull and bullet-downrange is killer, literally

Wait, does that happen with the vanilla flamer?

Well, in the emissions of the emitter you defined, change BurstSize to the cuantity of particles you want fired, and MaxVelocity/MinVelocity to adjust its speed. With more speed the particle should travel farther, but it still depends on some variables defined on the fired particled, like AirResistance.

well... i tried this again using heavy flamer form the coalition i tried before with the light one, i did change he same values but the heavy flammer does go farther, i did change the air Resistance and globalaccscaler and this seems to go much farther. thank you though
