Post Sprite Bug - Solved
Hey all
I have re-skinned and edited the Dummy drop crate so that I can use it with Whitebots. The transparent colour is correct but in game it does not go transparent

Sprite:
Image
In game:
Image

The images are saved as .bmp however in paint there are multiple options for different types of .bmp.

The thing sticking out of the top of the Pink is the thruster from the MK1 Rocket

Any help will be much appriciated
Thanks
Cyrill Jones

Looks like a case of the sprite not being in the right index. An easy way to fix this is to open up the Palette.bmp file in Base.rte, copy-paste your own sprite on top of it and then save it wherever you wish. Just avoid overwriting the palette file and you should be good to go.

What shook said only works with the paint from windows XP or Vista. If you have windows 7 paint you will have to use graphics gale.
Graphics Gale gives you the entire palette like paint does for it's own palette. But GG gives you all 256 (I think) colors so it makes spriting a lot easier.

AAND graphicsgale has a preview thingie that lets you see the whole image without zooming out. It's really handy.
