Something fishy's going around here. Geti wrote: looks like both to me. maybe a mechanical outer with a bag of organs inside. About the converted clone, yes, he still retain organs for the upper part of his body. At least a partially functional brain. So feel free to make him bleed. If possible, bleed only from the torso and the head. Oh, btw, the rigger mod doesn't work on my comp, dunno what happened. Can someone attach their working copy please?

Glugh. I should really update the information again. I'm really trying my damnedest to flesh these buggers out. You wouldn't believe the difficulty I'm having trying to come up with a biological explanation for their eyes. The reason I gave in the current information just wouldn't work. The light produced by the jelly would shoot their ability to see in the dark to hell. I would actually appreciate help and input x_X

Well, you could make the eye-liquids filter in infrared lights. The bioluminescent glow is really just excess infrared light reflected back out (thus refracted into visible red) due to the bacteria or germs living in the eye-liquid. So, in short, they have bacteria that helps them see in the dark, but make themselves known by making them glows.

Re: The Riggers (Updated army concept)
Ever since i first saw the sprite for the bruisers torso in the rigger folder, i wanted it in my game! So i had a crack at making it and gave it it's own unique weapon Comments and Critique would be brilliant, due to it being a work in progress and i'm looking forward to polishing it. Sorry if this is stepping on the developers toes, but the thread does seem kind of.... dead There's a picture in my avatar or a more recent screen shot here ;

Ehh, looks ok. Looks like you used the Heavy Brain Robot as a base.
I could critique it better if you didn't save your pictures as ♥♥♥♥ jpegs.

Re: The Riggers (Updated army concept)
Seems pretty ok. The render is well animated, but it doesn't "spin" fast enough to feel like a melee weapon with effect <I'm too spoiled by projectile weapons to say more about it>. Sprites are fine, it's wearing a <ceremonial> shoulder pad right?

Re: The Riggers (Updated army concept)
Picture changed to .Png, forgot about that little piece of forum etiquette . Do you mean ceremonial as in it doesn't provide very much protection, or as in it looks out of place on the sprite? I'm tempted to remove them altogether, they take away from the fact that bruiser is hunched and just generally ruin it.
