ATST
Right. Hmmm. Well. I posted this ages ago on here, I never uploaded any attempt to make it work. I only showed the sprites. Anyway. I've given it a go. And, well... Feet are tricky. Is this a case of Attachments and Joint Offsets? Or... Is it a case of Attachments and Walkpaths? Either way, it's going to confuse me, a lot.

Re: ATST
The shading is bad. Use more shades.

Re: ATST
You trollin'? Shading won't help him fix the leg problem.

Re: ATST
The shading ain't finished. There's no point fixing the shading if it's still going to walk funky. Yes.

Re: ATST
This is likely a case of WalkPaths. They're not so bad, it's getting the legs to look right that's a ♥♥♥♥♥. Read roon's tutorial on them and see if you can fix them.

Re: ATST
It's both jointoffsets and walkpaths. Jointoffsets will fix the location of the feet when it sits idle, but they will go right back to the wrong place if you try moving.
Sadly, walkpaths are one of the trickiest things to learn in Cortex Command.
GOOD LUCK!

Re: ATST
Eeek! Thanks! I'm gonna give this a go, but I don't have the registered version, yet... So it looks like without the Actor Viewr that I shall be flying blind. Oh well. It's a challenge. If all else fails, I can practise on some human peeps for the faction.

Re: ATST
If you are able to get your hands on graph paper or anything allowing you to quickly and easily plot a scatter graph do so. You will be flying slightly less blindly and it will be easier for you to make nice curves and non-jagged lines. Then you can enter the co-ordinates into the .ini file pretty easily, taking considerations for the differences in coordinate conventions.

Re: ATST
Thanks for the tip, 411570N3. And that is very kind of you, NaXx. I shall upload the sprites, if you want. However I have to go out for a while, so I can't do so until a few hours from now. In the meantime, I've been working on some Stormies... They're, well, how flash can a Stormtrooper be? They're white, plastic, people. Not very.
