Help with teleporting limbs
I was working on an actor and it was all cool, but for some reason when it faces left the legs and only the legs jump up like 30 pixels.
It still walks fine and everything, it just looks really dumb with the guys shins coming out of his chest and I can't figure out whats going on. I've tried to change the offset of just about everything related to the legs and it hasn't changed a thing.

Re: Help with teleporting limbs
Are the dimensions of each frame the same? That's usually what causes this error. Look coalition.rte for an example.

Re: Help with teleporting limbs
Check your walk paths. Maybe one has a wonked Y value or something.
As a last effort you can upload the snippet of the actor code her.

Re: Help with teleporting limbs
I just got sick of trying to rework the code so I scrapped it and I'm starting fresh. If the problem persists after that I'll just post the thing on the board to get some help. It's a bit hard to find the problem if you can't see the code and sprites.
I doubt it was the walkpath because when it was walking forward it was fine, and when it turned around and walked the legs stayed consistent to the standing animation. I just jumped them up when it was facing left.
*Edit: Wow I'm an idiot. Yeah, it was a dimension Issue. I haven't done much animation stuff like this before, so at least I learned something new.
Cool, thanks
