Post My gun doesn't survive
I used to mod a bit in CC long ago, and I'm now trying to relearn. However, my first gun has turned out not-so-great.

I have fixed all of the errors except one: every time I fire the gun, it falls apart. Or something. Either way, once I fire the first time, I no longer have a gun in my hands.

I turned the JointStrength and JointStiffness up, but I don't even know if these are the source of the problem... can someone help a noob out?

Raise the X value of the Muzzle Offset.

Yup.

Alternately, you could have set FireIgnoresThis to 1; this means that anything fired by the gun will ignore both the gun and its parent actor.

But fixing the offsets is usually easier.
