Lokson Innovation Inc. We aim to bring you the newest, never seen before products to you. Our company is not large scale enough to mass produce our products, however, we do build demonstration units (which are not for sell) to let you get a taste of how they would work.
Today, we'll demonstrate this particular product, enjoy:

It would seem like this is an improved Klone Kannon.

And this is possible to make in CC now. Model it after the Klone\Item cannon which is somewhere in the mods forum.

Actually, that's a pretty good idea for the addition of replacement defense turrets. To get the ground-digging right, how about making it a droppod that "unpacks" by gibbing into a pinned object?

No it wouldn't, if you want to "load" it with custom cargo.

Getting it to stand upright in the ground without falling over is probably going to be your largest challenge.

The actual firing mechanism is ridiculously easy; literally one variable.

Few things:

1. I personally don't mod. So I'll leave the modding to someone else, or these things will just
stay in imagination.

If you put the center of balance below the bottom, wouldn't it stabilize itself?

Actually this concept has been on my mind for a bit.

First you order the craft (ARocket), it has to be massive enough to eat terrain, as well its body has to have enough surface area to not be a bunker buster (umbrella shape). When it hits the ground, it begins its animation sequence (transform into turret) then it'll self scuttle. Viola, semi-permanent turret.

EDIT:
You can use this:
Code:
AddEffect = ACRocket
   InstanceName = Some Dropbox
   AddToGroup = Some faction
   AddToGroup = Some other group
   Velocity = Vector
      X = 0
      Y = 80


To get the pod to "fly" down at a velocity when it enters the map.

Make it a droppod that gibs into a fixed turret at a fixed angle.

Perhaps you failed to get the point. He wants it to be a craft so that you can load bombs and units into it.
Is there a way you could make it hit the ground and pin itself after a certain amount of time, you're good.
