Stronghold emissary[B22] (wip faction, mantis finished!)
This is a faction Im working on , that im about 10% done with. Everything that's in the download is in it's completed form, but im not sure about the logo yet. any way Mantis:an extra light crabturret unit that has a mouted, focused version of the LPSC. It's fairly fast and has a jet pack, but is killed easily. LPSC & DPistol:The LPSC is a "mild" laser that blows up heads, but is hardly effective against metal. The DPistol is a little less potent than the Peacemaker, but has a single-round magazine & a low reload time. Shield > Cover:This is a small durable shield that when thrown unfolds into a 24X24 pixel(half the size of a soldier) cover that provides protection against small arms fire. Good Idea, it doesn't work.
The crab looks smaller in your pic, its HUGE. The crab doesn't walk right. I walked over the clump of dirt in the tutorial, and it ATE IT! IT EATS DIRT!. normal crabs eat sand, this thing eats DIRT.
the guns, don't work. they can't kill anything. the pistol is the only one that works.
The only thing in this mod that does what its supposed to, is the deployable cover, and really, 24x24 is only cover for crawling.

24X24 also works well for ducking while sharp aiming. And the LPSC is only mean to blow up ronin & light soldier heads, it's meant to damage heavy soldiers, and only meant to push robots & dummies over with a full magazine. everything in the download does what it's meant to do.

Nice sounds like a good idea. Just try expanding the mod a little, another actor, a grenade,etc.

so, now im trying to put a laser sight on my sniper using an emitter but i can't figure out how to attach it. nm, findude helped

the emitter just isn't working the way i want it to so i'm using an attachable
[edit] sniper's done, but i'm gonna wait 'til i finish the ripper to release it.
