Sitting actors?
ok so i have a problem. every time i load some ai actors in some bunkers to protect my brain, they always sit and when they stand the get up and fall off the edge of the bunkers.
Is there a line in the actors code i could go to keep this from happening since it's very annoying.

Re: Sitting actors?
Try increasing their PushStrength in the StandPath of the walkpath sequence. That usually works for me.

If I had to guess, it's because of the collisions between the weapons and the actors' feet. And no, you weren't being sarcastic.

Re: Sitting actors?
But the AI also does it when they have no weapons at all and no weapons near them.

I dont know if this is the problem you're having, but for me the problem is that when I have my soldiers stationed on guard duty they decide to slack off and sit down. That would be fine except it stops them from being able to see out the bunker and fire at the oncoming hordes of enemies.

Re: Sitting actors?
yeah, this happens to me too. one thing you can do is increase the pushstrength. also, there is a certain status that can make actors do this. you know that code different numbers do different things to an actor... some spawn him dead, some with nonworking legs, some spinning out of control. mess around with that a bit. even if that doesnt work, its still fun.

Re: Sitting actors?
Maybe its push strength. But to me, it just looks like they push for a while, then crap out for some reason, then start pushing again. It is kinda dumb, but it might just be a bug. Increasing push strength won't help if they just stop pushing altogether.
Still, give it a shot I guess.

Re: Sitting actors?
The problem is the roof's too low so they react by crouching.
