Post First Bricolage Pack Weapon *Fixed*
I've decided to make a weapon pack. It's mostly going to be variations of a few weapons, but each "weapon's style" will be unique to the others none the less. Nothing extraordinary (although I think the explosions on this are pretty ♥♥♥♥ cool), but my first true mod after a long while of just watching and modding quietly to myself, So it's pretty cool for me I guess.

As of now a few of the sounds are darlos's. All final sounds will be "original" to the fullest extent of my knowledge and the current ones are merely placeholders.

The weapon itself is an area denial weapon I call the Carpet Bomber (for now, at least.. I hate the name myself, but it fits). Basically explosives gibbing explosives that gib more explosives. Bombs that multiply each time but get weaker, and stop after the third tier. Although on screen it doesn't look like that at all, it's a flurry of explosions that last a while, and aren't exactly super weapon powerful. So after the explosions stop you have a field of crippled enemies, or, if you're playing a human opponent, a place that wouldn't be economically feasible to cross for a short period of time.

The next two weapons Will be based off this sprite but with slight variations. After I'm finished with them (probably sometime this week) I'll post them here and let you look at them and possibly give me feedback, I'll then go back and tweak them some more then release the first section of my pack. (The offsets aren't final either because I can't fix them unless i can get it fully functional in-game)

Thanks to smithno13 for the superb gif :D

Bricolage..that's the French equivalent of "stuff" isn't it?
Just random stuff?

Fair enough, will give it a go.

Problem number 1!
Its not in palette!
FIX:
Bring up a gun template, open it in graphics gale, copy paste your gun into there!

Problem number 2...
The magazine might be "behind" the gun, as in, under the gun sprite, I think you should play with the offsets for a bit until it sticks out.

Download a template from here:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10247

Ok, once you got the template, open one of the .bmp files in graphics gale, the palette will load automatically. Enlarge the canvas to whatever size your gun needs to be, copy your gun, and paste into the .bmp you loaded. And... Your gun is now in palette!

How do you enlarge the canvas?
I keep trying to do it like you do in paint.
