Post [Help]Mah emissions don't hurt actors?
Ok, so I'm trying to make this weapon which fires emitters which damage actors both when they fly through them and when they step on them. I've looked at a similar weapon (zalo's AwesomeFantastic) and coded the emissions as such, but they seem not to be doing any damage at all to the actors and I don't know why. Can anyone explain this mystery to me? Also, getting too close with this weapon will end up with a spark (it's the tracer round) which will hurt the enemy, so that's not it.

By looking at the code, the only possible reasons i could find are these:

  • Sharpness is commented out on Electricity.
  • Mass and velocity of electricity seems too low to harm anyone via impulse.

Those were the only ones that i could find. Other reasons are possible, as i'm not the
most aware person on this planet.
LifeTime is probably not an issue, since the particles would still appear for a frame or two.
