 Spriting Problems.

Post Spriting Problems.
I made a sprite, purple background, and it came out messed up.
Image
I've basically just changed the colour of a dummy and opened the .act pallete into fireworks, I exported it into the image file.

As You can see it came out messed up.

Help?

Did you export it as an 8 bit sprite?

I'm not sure.
Probably, I exported it as 8 Bitmap.
Is that the same?

Open palette.bmp in paint. Paste your sprite into it. Crop and resave as your sprite.

Can someone help me fix this sprite because no matter what I do the sprite comes out strange

Save as a 24-bit bitmap, and see if that fixes it
