The script still needs to be build up by Data from scratch whatever the language is, preferably whatever is already being used it already, except in a variable controlled way that isn't built into the engine, because it makes us modders upset. I believe Lua uses .ini files as well and that LUA can be edited in notepad, however I couldn't say.
I have just found some program that will let C/C++ be bridged with LUA:
