I have an idea....
Make the car top, and the wheels. The wheels should have small (Not Seen) thruster in the side like this:
O' O' O = Wheel ' = Thruster
The thrusters should emit an invisible particle that doesn't harm anything, but pushes the wheels to rotate, a bit like if a rocket's side thruster was stronger and you held down the side thruster's button, causing the rocket to spin REALLY fast .
The right and left buttons should activate the thrusters on the wheel. The Up button should create a booster thruster in the back and the Down button should create brakes (by making a thruster in the front).
I'm not really too good with explaining stuff, and sorry if the idea has already been posted.

how about low mass? or a thruster always on in front to keep it's front up ?

To be quite frank, while good concepts, do you really think no one's thought of these before?
People have been trying to make successful vehicles since at least Build 11. It's just not gonna happen.

You have great ideas but part of the "problem" is that the mod making process isn't really open ended the way it is in games like quake. We can't just add contrallable thrusters onto limbs unless we change the actual code of the game. Just wait. Around build 29,139 we will be able to to much more with the mods.

Man, modding in CC isn't supposed to be open ended, it's supposed to be easy. We can make lots of things and we can make pretty cool things, but if we ended up with a more "open ended" way of modding, no-one would know how.

Haha, so true. Even though Data will probably add some more variables and particles, etc for us to play with in the future.

Ive created a working concept of a tank that should be able to move properly, but it has some down sides. 1, you cant rotate the tank's cannon. 2, The tank can only face one direction.
I suggest we just wait till data comes up with something.

My apologies. I didn't mean to say that modding quake was as easy as modding CC. All i meant by that statement was that, unlike quake with its script based mods, we are limited here to "merely" changing variables and while it does make the modding process easy it does enforce limits on the types of mods that are possible to make at the present time.

No, you misunderstood.
Q3 modding is hard, very hard, alot of people don't know how to do it (like me). But you can make whatever the heck you like.
CC modding is easy, incredibly easy, the few people that can't work out how to mod aren't doing it right. But there are big limits on what you can do.
If anyone is creative enough, they can make a mod that will be legendary for years to come.
WE NEEDS MORE IMAGINATIONS PEOPLES!
